Whilst I was living in Wales there was a key problem with the bee keeping society. Swarm reports would come in to the secretary by phone or by email, get transcribed into a members email and then be sent out to all the members. This was a labour intesnsive and slow process. It also resulted in lots of rubbish emails going to a lot of people who really didnt want them.
There had to be a better way.

So I invented BeeSwarm-UK using a social media platform as a basis. The idea is that the platform had 3004 pages, 1 for each of the UK postcodes and anyone can sign up to receive notifications of swarms in that specific area. Members of the public can then post to any specific postcode, connecting directly to the beekeepers with no middle man and no admin.
Do give it a go.
If you are a club society or national body who would like your own version of the platform then do get in touch. Contact.
